The EL Skyport RX Receiver works only with any Elinchrom Style RX monoblocs, Ranger RX Batteries or Digital RX Power Packs and is designed to send and receive signals from the Skyport Transmitter and Skyport USB RX Transceiver. Skyport RX Receivers require no batteries as they get their power from the device they are plugged into. The Skyport Transmitter can then be used to control the flash power in 1/10 of a stop increments, turn on or off the modeling lamp and control flash synchronization. To control all RX functions, a Mac or PC computer running the latest copy of EL Skyport software along with the Skyport USB Transceiver are required.
The EL Skyport software offers additional features, such as the power to watt second readings, programmable and re-useable flash-settings, flash-delay, flash-counter and studio positioning and setup notes. Other control features will be added as future software upgrades.
